TMI Disgusting photo alert! Is this a worm?

Abdominal pain for 2 months. Constipation and diarrhea. Was it a worm all along 🤢

Seen this in the toilet tonight and I'm freaking out.

If it’s not wiggling I might think it’s a bean sprout or something fibrous and stringy like a green bean or whatever

Tape worm!

I'm no expert but it looks more like thread/cotton to me than worm

I didn't notice it wriggling in the water, but the water was really murky around it so maybe it did move 🤢

Is it the pharmacist or GP for this?

I don’t think it’s a tapeworm, they’re more flat like tagliatelle and a lighter colour.

This one is covered in shit though

OP it could be a number of worms tangled together?

I've had tapeworms and handled them from animals too, and this doesn't look like one. Shame you flushed it as you'll never know now!

If its a tape worm you’ll feel bits of it wiggling out of your bum!

It looks exactly like the roundworm I had a few years back when traveling in china. Saw very similar in the toilet bowl. Not nice but easy to treat with medication. Also recommend a low sugar diet and pumpkin seeds!
