I've woken up this morning with all I can describe is extreme fatigue I've literally spent the day sleeping on the sofa and I'm still exhausted I don't feel unwell just so tired and a slight cough. Is this viral?

Sounds viral to me!

MolkosTeenageAngst · 24/12/2023 22:37

Could be flu or covid or another virus.

LegoDeathTrap · 24/12/2023 22:37

I felt like this a few weeks ago. Lasted about 24h before it was obvious it was D&V, then another 24h with the gastro symptoms. Fun times.

If you have a carbon monoxide detector please test it.

Covid. Fatigue was the overwhelming symptom for most adults I know. And it's rampant right me.

Singleandproud · 24/12/2023 22:39

When I had Covid a couple of years ago, extreme fatigue was almost my only symptom.

grayhairdontcare · 24/12/2023 23:27

I had extreme fatigue for 3 days then the worst bout of Covid followed

Sarvanga38 · 24/12/2023 23:28

Another vote for Covid, have had it three times and gets me like this the day before I see any other symptoms.

Hangover?

ALongHardWinter · 25/12/2023 04:41

When I had Covid just under 2 years ago, apart from a slight temperature,my only other symptom was overwhelming lethargy and fatigue.

I've had Covid twice, both times the symptoms were overwhelming fatigue and a banging headache.
