I used to love this film as a child, I would have been 5 when it was released. I put it on today for DS4 and DH had never seen it before. He said it was awful and not what Christmas was about! "Some Cockley santa whinging about shit and swearing". I sat and watched it too and felt it was a lovely little Christmas movie and totally age appropriate for DS4. have I gone mad or has DH?

We watch it every year! My two absolutely love it. As do it!

I agree with your husband. I had never seen it before neither had my parents. We all thought it was awful!

I loved it as a kid, also the Snowman but I can't get my kids to sit through anything like that now. They immediately lose interest and want to turn off.

I never really liked it tbh.
