There are lots of things I would love to do if they were the only thing I had to do, and I had loads of time to do them. Wrapping presents is one of them; I take pleasure in doing it if it's a few gifts for one person's birthday, but the avalanche of presents for a family Christmas is more of a chore. I do enjoy all the baking and sugarcraft, making gingerbread houses etc; but again, I'd enjoy it more if I didn't feel so squeezed by all the jobs.

I love wrapping Christmas presents. I take my time to make them really pretty.

Weirdly, I do not like wrapping Birthday presents. I find it a real chore.

Oh yes - I love sprouts! One of my favourite vegetables.

I haven't got them this year as no one else wanted them and it seemed daft to get them just for me. There were bags of 15p ones in Tesco but they looked like they were absolutely past it so I didn't bother.

I Love decorating the tree; it's so nice to unwrap and find all the decorations that bring back so many memories. I have always bought a new dec every year this year my partner bought me a lovely silver church. I always have the dove on top of the tree that I bought the first year I was married to my late husband a Woolworths decoration. the tiny pink bears that were bought for my daughters when they were tiny are grown up now, the list goes on and on with memorial decorations with pictures of my parents, my partner's mother, and past pets. we have just lost my fil so new decoration will have to be ordered

I also love sprouts but they have to be overcooked and mushy for us. I really don't understand the saute sprout recipes, eugh, I like to squish them between my tongue and the roof of my mouth haha.

I enjoy working between Christmas and New year's. It's peaceful, hardly any emails and I get to catch up. I love my kids but they're young and hard work so I'm secretly really happy to be working throughout this year!

I love decorating the house - I even make sure bedrooms are decorated and everyone has a cosy Christmas duvet. I love having everyone home and being able to relax with family. 🎄🎉
