Christmas traditions from exes

Do you have any things you do from your ex partners that you have kept but weren't part of your Christmas before you met them?

Mine is chocolate on the Christmas cakes instead of marzipan or icing. I never liked those anyway and even though he left 17 years ago I still put, and the DC still want, chocolate on the cakes.

I just melt chocolate for the top the the cake and smear it over. Sometimes just milk sometimes a marble if milk, white and dark.
