My asshole brother

My brother arrived unannounced and in a bad state. I had limited contact with him for about half a year, because he can be a major prick at times and he had seriously crossed a line that time. He's not well and erratic and I suspect that he is on something (he has used drugs in the past). I have tried to call his girlfriend but she didn't pick up, so I am not sure what happened but something must have or else he wouldn't be here?
I'm really not sure what to do because I'd prefer it if he just went home but I don't want to just kick him out either not knowing where he will go. He's not aggressive but it still annoys me that he just came her as if nothing happened. Can I expect this high to have worn off tomorrow, so I can send him back home or how long does this sort of shit last?

Do you feel safe enough for him to spend the night?

Do you feel safe?

I think so but I'd be happier knowing that he'll be sleeping. He's not aggressive just argumentative over nothing and rearranging things in my flat and talking a lot of crap. It's really sad

How much would a taxi cost? I'd rather pay for that myself, than put up with him all night.

He must've come for a reason and the longer he stays the more likely it is that you'll find out. Either he wants to borrow money or he isn't allowed to go back home or something like that.

Yeah she had kicked him out after a fight. He was OK here so hopefully they can make up but I want to stay out of it because I bet she was right.
