I feel like Advocat is having a resurgence this year, it’s everywhere!

I remember separate tv and radio times. My grandparents had a fake leather binder for them!

I buy radio times, Bailey’s, champagne, turkey, pigs, Xmas pudding, bread sauce, red cabbage, cranberry.

Madcats · 23/12/2023 20:25

I spent several decades highlighting programmes to watch/negotiate/record in Radio Times. It seemed to be late into the shops this year, or maybe it is the day that Christmas falls.

We've just bought our second ££ paper newspaper of the year to get the TV guide.

I'm more interested about radio listings these days, TBH.

😁 love this!!

FussyPud · 23/12/2023 20:35

Not buy, but making pigs in blankets. We all love them, but it never occurs to me to make them any other time.

ohtowinthelottery · 23/12/2023 20:37

I made the mistake of buying the Radio times in the supermarket without looking at the price. That's one Christmas tradition that won't be happening next year.
