Sending champagne abroad recommendations?

What's a good company to use to send a bottle of champagne from the UK to Canada? It's for a friend's birthday but I have no idea about such things. Been on google but I'm not sure which company is truly reliable? They all have such mixed reviews!
Would appreciate any recommendations thanks x

Fortnums? Any time we’ve ordered they’ve been super reliable and everything is really well packaged. They definitely ship internationally and I imagine that quite a lot of their business comes from this

It's probably easier to find a company in Canada with whom you can place an order.

Which province?

If it's Quebec it's SAQ. Easily order online

LCBO is the Ontario one

Why would you send a bottle of champagne from one country to another? It seems like an awfully expensive way to give a gift to someone.

Sending a bottle from the UK could make the receiver liable for tax.

Search people who deliver in Canada and remember to do a little homework to ensure they are legit.

Or a gift card? What’s wrong with that?

I'd find a Canadian website and order it to ship within Canada. Much simpler in so many ways.
