hi OP, I ummed and ahhed for a while over the same question, I guess it depends on what you would use it for, the size of your family and so on.
In the end I went for a multi cooker similar to the 15 in 1 which does air frying, slow cooking and pressure cooking.
I went for it as it does both the pressure cooking side of things, the dehydrating and the yoghurt making ability, as well as the air frying stuff.
I have found it brilliant and great as I can put a risotto on in 15 minutes without thinking about it. And the air fryer side of things is great too - crispy, quick and delicious. I find it can cook more than enough for my family in it.
Also you can press go then mostly forget about cooking and stirring and so on - the variables of temperature control are well worth it for both sides of air frying and cooking. You can't easily overcook or burn as you don't need to watch over it - I was always burning things or forgetting about them.
And there is the versatility of being able to do both sides of things. With the air fryer you will only be able to do that.
Anyway just my two pence!
