My friend told me yesterday that apparently it's very tasty, not sure this can be true?

It's nice if you roast it to melt all the fatty middle, then use that to make mayo (marrow)naise to dunk your steak and chips in

Yep, I'm a dirty, dirty bastard.

Its nice....like a fatty pâté if that makes sense

Delicious!

I'm Ken to try it. Is it something you buy from a butcher

I regretfully tasted some once by sucking on the bone of, I think, lamb.
It tasted like how a butchers smells.
Full disclosure: I'm happily a vegetarian now.

We get it in waitrose but I'm sure the butcher will have it if that's easier for you

Had some in a steak restaurant recently. It was disappointing, a bit flavourless but not unpleasant

nocoolnamesleft · 21/12/2023 22:13

I've had bone marrow gravy, which was amazing.

grayhairdontcare · 21/12/2023 22:18

It's like dog food jelly

Damnloginpopup · 22/12/2023 08:17

Grim

I fine it very tasty (and nutritious). I had it at St John with toast (basically a beef shin halved) and have since cooked at home with some flat-leaf parsley sprinkled over it.
