After-dinner coffee and chocolates - without chocolates!

Lately chocolate, which I love, has decided not to love me back. I've been feeling a bit sick after eating it and just generally not satisfied with the taste. Maybe I've eaten too much! It doesn't feel like a treat anymore.

Does anyone have any ideas for small "grown-up" type sweets that might feel like a treat with coffee after dinner? I'm thinking candied fruit, or maybe Turkish delight or something like that. I don't want to keep reaching for the After Eights if there's something nicer out there!

Those little fruits made from marzipan, Petit Fours I think?
Or medjoul dates? I'm not keen but my dsis swears they're better than chocolate!

See I think coffee creams are vile and Bendick’s mints are very sickly.

I’d go for something like panforte, or some other fig and nut type thing. My local Turkish shop does one. Halva is quite moreish, though very sweet.
