New passport -countersigning

I've been asked to countersign a passport for a student at school. Happy to do this

If you are applying online what information does the applicant need to give about the person countersigning?

The parent asked me for help but I can't see what instructions they have. They might struggle without some support.

So if you have applied for a passport online what info did you need to supply?

Full name, dob and PLACE of birth I believe.

I've just done this last week. You fill in a small form where it asks for your full name, passport number, contact number, profession, work address, how you know the applicant, years known, and work email address.

we just applied for our daughters first passport and my mums friend did the counter sign, all i put in was her full name and email address, they sent her an email and she just confirmed that she'd known me for more than 2 years!

@tillytigger perfect thank you.

I thought it would be this. I will tell the parent.

Hopeful they can manage and do it before Christmas.

Although from what I remember for
My renewal, it was very easy to do.
