My DF is defrosting my turkey now! Help

I'm really funny with meat anyway but this is turning my stomach already.
Is this right? They have put the frozen turkey crown in the fridge to slowly defrost yesterday. (Wednesday) so 4-5 days to defrost. Is this right?

I dont feel like eating it already

I think my fridge is colder than usual (I’m also funny with food) but I’ve had a lots of things still partially frozen after 12/24 hours and they’re no where near the size of a big turkey.

my mum’s warm fridge on the other hand is like putting foods out on the kitchen countertop so I wouldn’t be trusting that as much!!

I would be more concerned about a part frozen bird

M&S was full of turkeys yesterday dated 26th, I think this will be fine!
