Christmas Number 1 for this year will be announced tomorrow so I thought it was a good time for a poll. These are my top 5. Which is your favourite? What am I missing?

The Power of love is my absolute favourite. Sometimes if I try and sing along the words make me cry. No idea why.

I do like Christmas Wrapping, the one that always makes me laugh and sing loud is Christmas Duet by Cyndi Lauper and The Hives but it's a bit naughty.

Not that it matters. The best is Fairytale of New York. Always has been, always will be. Though I have a soft spot for Last Christmas.

I'm surprised to see a winter's tale on the list, I thought I was the only one who loved that one. Also love a spaceman came travelling.

Ps little known fact.

2000 Miles was not originally written as a Christmas song. Chrissie Hynde wrote it in honour of James Honeyman-Scott. He was the original Pretenders guitarist on the first 2 albums before his untimely death at 25 after sniffing too much of the white stuff. Ironically his death came 2 days after the band decided to sack their other guitarist Pete Farndon because his heroin addiction left him unreliable. The Pretenders went from being a 4 piece to a 2 piece in 2 days.

( Pete Farndon died of a heroin overdose a year later and drowned in the bath.)
