Do you burp?

I've just read this
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-67774902

On average I'd say I burp once a year. And then only a very small hiccupy type of burp. I thought that was normal, but maybe not! I don't experience any severe symptoms as described in the article, but I do get very bloated most evenings and unfortunately pass a lot of wind (although I've no idea what would be considered average?!)

Are there any other non burpers like me? Does it cause you any issues?

There’s a difference between not burping much and not being able to burp, as the article says

I burp rarely, but am generally not a very gassy person. My children were never refluxy at all either. My husband on the other hand is his own wind farm.

i absolutely hate hearing people burping. Especially men after they’ve been drinking or eating something strong smelling and do an extra large burp to force it out. Revolting.

No I don't. I can't burp on purpose or by accident. When I get hiccups they are painful and last ages. I can only seem to bring up gas when I'm about to vomit and I do that baulking thing. I probably pass wind more than average out the other end though.

Loudly and proudly when in appropriate surroundings.
