Will friends get a notification if I unsend an old Facebook message?

I engaged in making a few rude comments about another friend on a Facebook group chat back in August and now I’ve got friendlier recently with the person I want to delete the message in case she ever sees it. Will the other members of the group chat get a notification that I’ve unsent it?

Yes they will. An ex did this to me a few months ago of messages he sent 7 years ago on fb and I got a notification saying he had done so!

No, not on Facebook messenger. It will say message deleted if they check back to it but won't notify
