Any views on mulled cider as an alternative to mulled wine?

I serve mulled wine, cider, and apple juice at Christmas parties. All are popular.

(we also serve other drinks)

I don't drink alcohol but I do like a mulled apple juice at this time of year. Lots of cinnamon.

I'm not sure you can make a good mulled cider with Diamond White - you'd want a scrumpy type cider.

I serve mulled cider and it always proves popular.

There are a large group of people who don’t like red wine and the mulled cider is lighter.

I make this thing I am now famous for that’s a cross between mulled cider and mulled apple juice. It’s cloudy apple juice, spiced rum, cider, maple syrup and cinnamon, nutmeg, star anise etc. so good.

DH did this for the first time tonight using Aldi Taurus cider and alot of nutmeg and cinnamon and sugar and cloves. It was much nicer than mulled wine IMO.

Hot apple cider (non alcoholic) is lovely and really popular at this time of year where I'm from in North America. It's not apple juice. It's made by cooking apples for ages with lots of lovely spices.
