Ds autism/bedroom/obsessed with death

I'm trying to sort the kids bedroom and decorate etc . I want to give the kids some choice. The 7 year old has Been ok can work with his suggestions. But the 8 year old is obsessed with death he's saying he wants demons, red like blood and black. I don't want him to feel like he's been ignored. But I also can't do what he's asking me.

Ornaments/posters/duvet covers etc I think are the way forward for bedecking a room out with stuff you want to be able to easily remove!

My DD's favourite colour is black. I've told her the walls of her room are not going to be black, but she can have black accessories.
