Help me stay awake

My 10 month old was up every 90 minutes all last night where he’s feeling unwell from a bad cold and chesty cough. I’m shattered from the same cold and the lack of sleep and am by myself looking after him and our 3 year old (who doesn’t nap anymore during the day).

Can I have your best tips for tricking myself into feeling more energized and staying awake please?

Is copious amounts of coffee my only hope?

Thanks!

Fresh air is probably your only hope. Wrap everyone up and get out for a walk this morning. Then hopefully the baby can nap and you can snooze on the sofa while the 3 year old watches TV. Then just the afternoon to get through.

This is the way. Everyone out, tire them out, come home, then I'd do it like everyone into bed - toddler into bed beside you with your phone on YouTube kids then you can snooze for a little while.

Thank you everyone! I am caffeinated up, we made it out to the park across the road for an hour, the toddler has had lunch (could only manage a pizza from the freezer!) and listening to his Toniebox and playing with his magnatiles while baby is napping. I’m going to try and shut my eyes on the sofa now while toddler is playing!

Only a few hours to go until bedtime, right!
