Anyone had any luck with Evri and delayed parcels?

3 times now in as many weeks I've ordered something and it's gone missing with Evri. Twice they were from Vinted, third time I just bought one from the shop because I thought it was a safer bet and had already missed two potential bargains.

No tracking info updated since Thursday, it was supposed to be delivered by today.

I've contacted Evri and they said if no tracking update in 48 hours it's assumed lost.

The parcel is supposed to be at the depot, they're usually pretty quick once they've got it.

Anyone had any luck with parcels coming late?

No luck at all. I’m impressed you’ve managed to contact Evri - I never can.
Though in fairness they delivered a parcel a day early and undamaged today, so miracles do happen…

I had a vinted one tracking to a pick up point two hours away. It was out for delivery then in transit again then eventually out for delivery again, still showing this general store across the country as the address. It turned up on my doorstep, late, when I had paid for pick up from a local point not home delivery.

Yes 5 days late and the retailer had already refunded me and then told me to keep the item

No, they left my parcel with the one neighbour I asked them not to. I asked them to pick it up because neighbour's been violent in the past. They did pick it up to their credit but I wasn't in when they did so now the parcel's lost forever in their depot! Don't expect to ever get it.
