Going for a walk/reusable coffee mug

If you enjoy going somewhere and taking coffee with you in your own reusable mug and then going for a walk while drinking it, how do you carry it once empty?

We have wasted money this Autumn by getting a takeaway coffee sometimes when we go for a walk along the coast. I want to start taking coffee with us but don't want to drive there, drink it in the car park first, leave mug and then walk. Would far rather drink it while starting out on walk as then we warm up quicker.

I see lots of others doing the same with disposable cups but don't see anyone putting away or clipping on a reusable one.

Small cross body bag to pop it into?

Collapsible one and put it in my bag.

I usually bring a tote bag. I normally get handed random shit from DS (Ie his drink, jacket, a stone he likes) to carry anyway or need it for my cardigan (I get too hot)

Shove it a bag or pocket. Mine has a hook style handle, so easy to hook in a belt loop/ waist band if pocket is too small.

Sometimes take a bit of kitchen roll to shove in it and stop drips thrn put in my bag

We have mini screw top flask things made by Gelert. They stay hot ages and you drink straight out of them.

I just pop it in my bag.

Love the tip of taking some kitchen towel to stop the drips!

I put mine in my bag. It has a good seal so doesn't leak.
