Anyone else crawling through the week!?

Just crawling by this stage through to Friday when we all finish school and work. Work is as busy as ever, bonkers queries coming in left right and centre. I have wrapped nothing and my house is upside down.

How is it only Tuesday?? 😩

Finished work until the 28th at lunchtime today.

Been into the city and got the last things I needed apart from a couple of things I can pick up
Tomorrow.

I also have two birthdays before Xmas day so will be present wrapping and card writing for that this evening as well as everything else to wrap as haven't done any yet

I also have washing coming out of my ears and my house needs a bloody good clean

If another kid asks me if we are doing anything fun today, I may implode.
I really hope my inside voice doesn't break out and become my outside voice otherwise I may be screaming manically....fuck it all, you bunch of shitty bastard ungrateful arses .....arghhhh

Time for a name change I feel.

I had a manic week lined up but now have tested positive for covid so can wfh and that takes the pressure off a bit. Just annoying that DH has to do the Xmas food shopping as I would rather sort that. At least i get to rest a lot with a good excuse.

Me! I'm limping towards Friday.Just been given loads of work to do by Friday argh. I'll be up at 3 or 4 tomorrow to finish it.

Dds are off college/school. I don't finish till Friday afternoon maybe lunchtime if work lets us finish early.
Presents and wrapping done. Frozen food delivered . Need to get meat on Friday.

I’ve had a bit of a cry today, eveything getting too much and my mum, who I don’t have a great relationship with is coming to stay for a week, on Friday. I’m just asking myself why I agreed to do this, I’m not looking forward to Xmas at all 😔

Yes, and to top it off I've got Flu or Covid (don't know which). It's torturous. But must stay up plate to continue the endless wrapping.
