Anyone live near Whitby?

Can anyone recommend a really nice restaurant or similar in or near Whitby? Something a bit special maybe for a gift?

The Hart’s Inn at Sandsend is very nice but not sure I would count it as special, just good pub food. There’s a restaurant next door to it which I’ve never actually seen open but looks posh!

Sneaton Castle is very nice.

There's also Dittos which is lovely and Sanders Yard.

Moutreys and Cosa Nostra are both Italian and very good too.
