Ben & Marina Fogle.. Middle class or upper class?

I follow both the Fogles Instagram accounts. They have an idyllic life for sure, beautiful lovely kids & great outdoorsy life. Just out of curiosity are they mc or umc? I have a slight crush on Ben☺️

Upper middle I would say.
I don’t mean this meanly but while they are undeniably very attractive I find their look & style bland. But I would say I’m a quirky kind of person.

Ben’s father was a vet and I think his mother was an actress. So he’d be middle I suppose.

Marina is English she has Austrian ancestry

Some if you are confusing wealth with class - just because they are extremely rich doesn't mean they are U.

They look a gorgeous upper-middle family to me!

Yes very gorgeous. And always looked elegant even when a bit scruffy. Although id also say they were a bit identikit for the area (well, the well off part of the area)

I don't have even the slightest crush on Ben Fogle. I know he's mr outdoorsy but even so I find him a little bit prissy.

Don't tell him though. It would cast a shadow over his Christmas.

You can only inherit upper-class status; you can attain middle-class. I went to a public school, and I'm definitely not upper class.

I've had the pleasure of meeting Ben some years ago now when he first became known after castaway. He was with his parents I think, some other family members and two dogs in Tenby wales. He was so nice. His family too. They are defo upper middle in my opinion.

@Bargainbag - Marina was born in Austria and has an Austrian Mother. Just because her Father is British and she has British nationality it doesn’t mean she won’t have been influenced by Austrian names. She grew up speaking German bilingually. So Ludovic is very likely from that side. Iona is Scottish (probably from castaway era and travels)

Where have Marina’s podcasts gone? Particularly liked the one she did with Bev Turner.

@Caspianberg the family has a traditional Austrian look about them.

Only the very richest few percent of families send children to public schools, so a bit of a stretch to think they are in the middle of anything
Wealth has nothing to do with class.
