Hi. I’m looking for recommendations for documentaries to watch with dd11 over the holidays. Shes fairly grown up and caring, but sensitive so nothing too heavy. Something empowering maybe?

Topic wise anything goes, although her current interests are fairly ubiquitously tween. She’s vegetarian and into ethical issues. But anything light hearted good too.

What have your preteens enjoyed watching recently?

Man on wire is great if it's on anywhere

Thanks. Looks like it’s on Prime to rent for £2 so will put it on our list.

If we have booked a holiday or have a few holiday destinations in mind DD and I like to watch anything set in that location to find out more about it/get in the mood for next summer. Most tourist places have some kind of documentary or travelogue or if not, have been used as a location for a film.

Sadly no holiday plans yet, but this is definitely a good idea for the future. Thanks.
