Family holiday with kids help

Hi

I’m looking for a bit of advice and any reviews on holiday destinations that aren’t too long in an aeroplane.

I have 2 kids. They will be 5&2.
we stay in Scotland
it will be 4 of us going through

looking for a good family hotel abroad for maybe 1 week - 10 days

a hotel with plenty to do or nearby beach/water parks etc

my last holiday abroad was magaluf when I was in my early 20s about 100 years ago lol (or so it feels) so I am out the loop on where to go. My friends love Dubai which isn’t somewhere I’d go.

Thanks x

Salou can be a great first holiday destination. We went there when our 2 were wee. We used to stay in the Golden Avenida Suites which wasn't too far a walk from the main strip. But the last time we stayed closer in and went to the Best Los Angeles Hotel.

What's your budget? Do you want room only, B&B, half board, all inclusive?

When you say not to far, what's the max flight you'd do?

What time of year?

Thinking maybe about June/July

halfboard I’d like

max 2.5 hours

I don’t have a budget but I wouldn’t be looking to spend more than 3k. I’m only assuming that’s the going rate for a holiday. More …. ?
