I'm trying to think of places I've been. Samlesbury Hall was nice, and The Barn at Scorton. I could have sworn I once had afternoon tea at The Inn at Whitewell but, looking at the website, they don't do it.

Brabins Tearooms in Chipping. Lovely quaint little village in the Forest of Bowland and 15 mins from Clitheroe

They could have afternoon tea and enjoy the spa at Ribby Hall too.

also, I've not actually had the afternoon tea there but went to a wedding at Mitton Hall near Clitheroe and the food was great.

I want to go to all of these! Keep them coming and I'll have a look at the websites
