DS has a pulled muscle through sport, he's just taken some paracetamol that probably wont touch it. He has some Naproxen - can you take with paracetamol?

It’s fine but best practice is don’t take them together - space them out, as in alternate every 2 hours between the naproxen and paracetamol.

Naproxen should last longer so next time space it out it won't hurt to take both but gives longer pain relief.

It’s fine, you can take them at the same time.

He should be fine with that. When I could take naproxen, I was told to take a naproxen and a zapain (30mg codeine 500ng paracetamol) together by my consultant.

Had to take Omeprazole with the naproxen though.

Thanks everyone, he has to go to work tomorrow no choice so hoping a day of meds and rest pus moving about will help

Yes, you can generally take Naproxen and paracetamol together, as they work in different ways and don’t usually interact — many doctors even recommend this combo for stronger pain relief. I’m actually taking naproxen myself at the moment (I get bad period cramps) and I order it from 🔗healway.co.uk/naproxen, it’s been working really well for me.

I was given them both together when I was in hospital very recently for a knee replacement.
