LEGO 2023 Advent Calendar question

Does anyone know if this (or any Lego advent calendar) which is currently on sale at a reduced price, due to being more than half way through December obviously, would be OK to buy now for next year - or is there something specific to 2023? Maybe the date on it etc?

I have one and so far it’s not obviously for this year, so should be fine.

Oh really? Well that's good news for me if I purchase at sale price and put away for next Christmas, but not so good for those paying full price! I guess it's a risk I take that the "reveal" on last day won't say 2023 ........
