Elf film… where can I watch?

HappyCamperTent · 17/12/2023 19:56

I have apple, netflix, prime and disney yet I can’t watch Elf for free!

I hate bloody amazon! You pay £10 a
month and they still bloody charge you to watch certain films!

We rented it for £3:49 from Amazon today as its DPs absolute favourite Christmas movie. Couldn’t find it free anywhere!

NuffSaidSam · 17/12/2023 20:00

It'll inevitably be on TV at some point

SgtJuneAckland · 17/12/2023 20:00

It was on TV today, I recorded it

It was on tv yesterday and today - it's on right now! Sky Showcase if anyone is a basic sky customer (we don't pay for movies but still have that channel)

HoHoHoliday · 17/12/2023 20:03

You need Sky Cinema, otherwise pay a few £s to rent on Amazon. A lot of cinemas are showing Christmas films too, check your local cinema?

Redlarge · 17/12/2023 20:06

Its literally on tv now

HappyCamperTent · 17/12/2023 20:54

We don’t have a tv signal unfortunately… which channel? Maybe i can find it on catch up?

I think I just begrudge paying for Amazon when I already pay monthly

loudbatperson · 17/12/2023 21:28

It's on NOW is you have the movie package.

mrsmoppp · 17/12/2023 21:28

It's on Disney plus my daughter said today

thedevilinablackdress · 17/12/2023 21:29

£3.29, watch it as many times as you like (assuming you have a DVD player 😁)

Sky have the U.K. streamer rights so you’ll only get it there or in NOW.

If you ever want to see where you can watch something check out justwatch.com

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 17/12/2023 21:32

We ended up buying it as we watch it every year and thought it would be worth it.

HamstersAreMyLife · 17/12/2023 21:32

I bought the DVD for about £2 last year because of this!

It isn't. Not on UK Disney anyway.

hugohumbug · 17/12/2023 22:02

I've just checked and it isn't on Disney but I am a million per cent certain that it was on there very recently as it kept popping up. Cheeky of them.

savoycabbage · 17/12/2023 22:08

I was just looking into this today as we were going to watch it on Boxing Day.

It seems it's not available anywhere for free.

Kodi plus Fen add on. Real Debrid (very cheap) account. Watch anything you like.

Zevitevitchofcrimas · 18/12/2023 06:46

I was sure I saw it somewhere like itv or chanel 5! Now I, don't find it

Soccermumamir · 18/12/2023 06:54

We've just added Sky Cinema to our package. It's on like 3 times a day at the moment 🤦‍♀️

Romeiswheretheheartis · 18/12/2023 07:21

It was definitely on one of the Freeview channels yesterday, I watched a few minutes of it.

SecondUsername4me · 18/12/2023 07:23

CEX (shop) sells old dvds from 50p up. Highly recommend getting christmas classics from there as they are hit and miss on streaming sites.

DeathMetalMum · 18/12/2023 07:29

Now tv/sky cinema. Dc watched it yesterday. They almost always have an offer or free 7 day trail somewhere.

Worth signing up to their emails we have had had an offer back in the summer for three months free then £1.99 a month. Then an additional 6 months for £2.99 we watch films so good value for us.

Zevitevitchofcrimas · 18/12/2023 07:29

@Romeiswheretheheartis

Do you mean live in free view or on thier version of I player?
