Looking for inspiration!

Have a few batch-cooked meals in the freezer, and Ocado coming around 12 but nothing exciting in the order.

I have wine Xmas Smile

Tin of soup and a slice of toast

BeyondMyWits · 17/12/2023 08:48

Sausages, egg, chips and beans. Followed by a mini chocolate trifle from a plastic pot.

(Don't live alone, but DH working today.)

Chicken and papaya curry and rice and an apple. I divide recipes into one usually, or make enough for two and have it two days/freeze.

I've taken a beef curry out of the freezer so that's lunch sorted - eggs & avocado will feature later in the day Xmas Smile

Don’t live alone but DH doesn’t have lunch. I’ll probably put some chicken tenders in the air fryer and have in a wrap. Or a tuna sweetcorn jacket potato

Maybe sardines on toast, maybe a bacon sarnie to use the last rasher of bacon up.

Beezknees · 17/12/2023 10:52

Don't live alone but I'm single and teen DS is at a mate's. Having cheese on toast and a glass of prosecco, I booked the day off work tomorrow to get some Christmas bits done so why not.

Cantino · 17/12/2023 10:53

Something with eggs, I have a ridiculous amount that needs using up! Maybe some spicy noodles with fried eggs

rainbowbee · 17/12/2023 11:22

I have a few things to get in the shopping centre so I'll probably pick myself up a quiche. Leaving for Christmas this week so don't want a load of bits in the fridge.

I was on a mission to use upmost of bits and bobs so I made a salad topped with warm cumin, garlic and garlic toasted cauliflower. It was divine. And the perfect lunch for when no one's home as a plate of veg would not be well received! Their loss, my gain!
