Liberal schools in the South West?

Posted in secondary education but might get more of a response here.

Asking for a family friend (I'm happy where I am). If you were looking for a liberal/laid back school in the South West for a free spirited and trendy girl of ten, are there any good ones which spring to mind. Can be state or independent. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Surely this depends a lot on where the family lives!
Bedales might suit, although it’s more south east I suppose. Milton Abbey school is supposed to be quite non-conformist. I think there is a Reggio Emilia school in Kent, but I can’t remember what it’s called.

What about Bryanston in Blandford, Dorset?

The whole of the South West?! Are they going to relocate on the promise of a "liberal school"? What even is that?

Blundell’s worth a look.

Steer well clear of the Ted Wragg Trust.

Thanks for all your suggestions. There is some doubt as to where my friends will end up living, hence the broad geography at the moment.
