Chicken run:- dawn of the nugget?

Who’s watched it? I find it quite amusing actually and for a second film it really wasn’t that bad! On Netflix

I liked it better than the first one actually.

Not as good as the original, some of the new voices were off putting.
But I'll definitely be watching it again. We're massive Chicken Run fans here.

We thought it was really good. Maybe not quite as good as the first but a brilliant sequel.

I must admit, I did laugh out loud at the crack joke

Following as we don't have Netflix but I loved the first film and am trying to decide if it's worth subscribing specifically to watch it. Sounds like everyone has enjoyed it so far?

I loved the way it looked, so pretty with all the colours in it. Hope they make a 3rd

He's 20 but hadn't even been thunk of when the first one came out.

I didn’t think it was a patch on the first one, despite the fabulous animation — maybe also felt slightly soured by reading that Julia Sawalha (the original Ginger) had not even been offered the opportunity to voice test for it , as they wanted to cast a younger actress. In fairness, it’s a film about talking chickens breaking into a high-security mind-control chicken nugget factory, so hard to grasp why they thought an older actress’ voice would be difficult to ‘believe’.

After their horrible ageism with Julia Sawalha, I have no intention of ever watching it!

Well my three children have watched it two nights in a row and loved it!

Is this the film where Julia Sawalha was rejected for being too old?
