pls anyone reccomend a stylish hurricane lamp/ lantern or hurricance candle holder pls?

Recomendations for either hurricane pillar candle holders or battery powered/solar powered/oil powered lamps.

Candle is for interior Christmas really but has an element of power cut prepping. Lamp or lantern is definitely power cut prepping.

Looking for something stylish and not patterned - so either froster/pearl plain or clear class.

For the candles, I LOVE this one but even I think spending £745 on a glass tube with candle not included is ridiculous.

the first one looks nice, but I'd worry that the metal corners might get hot/square shape may make it harder to lift/move comfortably.

the plain cylinders are a bit too plain - they look like they've been nicked from the science lab! 😁

Yes to science lab! I couldn’t work out why they made me feel slightly uneasy.

The Cox and Cox does have a lot of the metal.

If you are prepping then it probably makes sense to have something that produces the most light for the longest with the least hassle.

So probably an LED lantern is best as you will not need to store lamp oil, just a few batteries which are safer and you will probably need litres of lamp oil to get the same endurance. Plus there is less fire risk moving it around.

I was eyeing these up the other day (ended up ordering something totally different 🤦🏼‍♀️) not sure if they're similar to what you're after?

Actually looking on Amazon there are a fair few ones that have built in chargeable batteries, or accept normal batteries. And also can be used to charge your phone/tablet and have 50 hours plus of lighting endurance.

Might get one of those.

@PuppyMcPupFace thanks - those aren't bad and may come back to them if I can't find anything else but I''m looking for something a bit more distinctive/added style than just plain glass but not too over elaborately designed or blinged.
