Google pay /back card help money being spent

Hi firstly I don't understand how any of this works. And its never happend before in years . My autistic 8 year old has Been purchasing things in play store . I'm not sure if he's doing it via Google pay or my bank card which is saved on there. When I looked my last 4 digits for my card are on there so I think my card? I'm trying to remove payment method but I can't there seems to be no option.

I just went onto my Internet banking and found a bit that said Google pay. It only gave me an option to add Google pay. So I'm thinking I must have removed Google pay . So it probably is my bank card that's been saved . So how do I remove it ?

I now only have 28.00 on my bank 😔

Go to your Google play store settings and remove the card from there

As a quick fix block your card on your banking app. You won’t be able to use it but at least no one else will! Then either remibe from Google pay if you’re sure that’s the only place the details are, or cancel and get a new card.

You need to go to the Play store and remove your card or make it ask for a pin before a purchase is made

It shows me this . It shows my method and then . When I click on more payment settings. It just asks me to add a payment method even though my bank card one is there which is what I'm trying to remove

Yeah I know ds does not have it at the moment so I'm hoping to sort it out. I don't want to block it unless no choice

If you go to Settings you can put a parental control on to stop purchases

Yes, create a pin and then it should ask for that if your son tries to make an in game purchase.

How much has he spent? Could you try to claim some back? If you don't ask you don't get

Think about 35.00 ish . I don't know if they would refund it. Because I had the card on there no parent control or anything. It been like it for a couple of years so I dont really know how he's managed it. I know he's not being sneaky because he does not understand.just odd that ot suddenly happend after 2 years

Also make sure any in-game purchase receipts are emailed to an email address that you use.
