1st Central car insurance

Just a quick question on this company. Trying to get insurance sorted for son and this company coming up as the best price. Anyone any experience of them? Trust pilot reviews are mixed, but I guess that's the standard with any company. I'm nervous going with an 'online' only quote, would appreciate any views.

I got my son's car insurance with 1st Central. No problem at all with them so far!

We used them and had no issues (didn’t have to claim though).

I used them for a year. No issues really but I didn't need to claim anything. When it came to renew there was a cheaper offer elsewhere.

I used them for 8years without issue including a no fault claim. Only left as went with manufacturers insurance will be going back once the warranty is up if they are still the cheapest

I deal with them daily in work. They aren't any better or worse than anyone else

A 1st Central insured driver crashed in to and wrote off my car earlier this year. 1st Central dealt with the claim very efficiently and offered me a very reasonable payout.
