It's my birthday today and I'm sat enjoying a coffee in peace before the kids get up.

Oh a very happy birthday to you! I sit with you in peace- before- kids solidarity. It only happens about once a year in this house that the child is not up before 6 and I am savouring every quiet moment in the light of the xmas tree.

Happy birthday! I'm doing the same. I have teens so have hours before they get up!
They're not demanding of my time and energy so much anymore but I still enjoy that calm and peace.

Not doing much today just relaxing then off to friends birthday party tonight, so double celebrations.
