Surprised to get a call confirming I'll be getting a Christmas bonus, I actually wasn't expecting anything as it's been a challenging year for the business with lots of changes/expense! Obviously I'm delighted, nice to be recognised and appreciated - I've worked hard this year under exceptionally challenging circumstances (marriage split/house move) to name a few curve balls 😆 It's got me thinking if this is generally not happening much these days? Mentioned to two of my friends and both were quite negative and wasn't even expecting a thank you!
