Inspired by the thread on staying on top of mess with small kids.
We are about to move house. Our current house is constantly messy and very hard to keep clean and organised due to lack of storage and being in a rental that we couldn’t make changes to improve this. our new home has more storage, but I’m mindful it will be easy to end up in the same cluttered state.
What are your top tips/must buy items to help stay on top of the mess? I thought putting a coat rail at a lower height for the kids will mean they can hang up their own stuff, as well as leaving a hook or two more for us so that our costs aren’t in such a big mound. I also thought maybe I need some sort of practical storage that’s easy to access for arts and crafts stuff. Any ideas?
On a budget but keen to start on the right foot in our new home!
I assume there will be some decluttering as we pack and unpack, so that may help too.
