Will it be delivered?

I've ordered something with my new address, but old postcode! I've called the company, but it was shipped yesterday.

Is it likely to be delivered, very delayed or sent back to the company? Anyone made this error?

Who will be delivering? Is there an option on the tracking to change delivery address?

@ChoupetteTheCat Apparently they posted it via 2nd class royal mail, so no option to change the delivery address now sadly.

Any one else know?

Yes, it should. It will be manually changed at the sorting office to the correct postcode. My DH changed his address on his union membership when we moved house but forget to change the postcode. All the correspondence got to us and the old postcode had been crossed out and corrected. It may be day or so late arriving. In my experience, Royal Mail are much more vigilant dealing with these issues than other couriers.

@AchillesLastStand Thank you. Its my own fault for not checking the entire address, which I think auto-filled itself. Just hope it arrives next week! 😬

Sorry but I did this recently & it wasn't.

It was either Royal Mail 48 hour delivery if that makes a difference.

I didn't realise I'd done it.

I'd had notifications to say it was out for delivery & then it said postman couldn't deliver as postcode didn't match address.

When I looked at my order confirmation I had my old postcode

It was sent back to sender & I had to reorder using correct address
