Problems with Vinted

Anyone had good results from Vinted? I have only bought one before and pretty straightforward. This time I bought a jacket and it got delivered to an Inpost Locker. It was really raining when I collected it and didn't spot it didn't have my name on it until I got home. Opened it up and totally not the item I ordered. Contacted seller and he claimed he addressed to me correctly. It's 2 weeks now since I raised with Vinted and no joy with refund or correct item.. they keep saying it's being investigated. Have I just lost £40?

It’s an inpost issue. They don’t always put the correct order in the correct locker.
press I have an issue with Vinted, photograph what you have and they should refund you as per the buyer protection. I think you have to fill out a form
The seller will have a bit more of a battle to get their money but it should be achievable.

I've sent them lots of photos but they say it's still being investigated with inpost and won't give a timeframe for refund.Bit unfair as I bought buyers protection.

It's happened to me twice now. You'll definitely get a refund it will just take a little while.

Definitely InPost. I've had the same issue. Ordered shoes for my daughter's prom and got a black hoodie. Never got it resolved. Do love Vinted though. Buy loads of stuff from there, sometimes with mixed results, but so much cheaper and, therefore, worth it overall.

This happened to me on Vinted but I eventually got a refund. Can’t remember how long it took , probably about 3 weeks. I did have to keep messaging them about it and they kept asking me the same questions, which was frustrating.

Yep, InPost issue. Buyers protection on Vinted doesn't really do anything I'm afraid. You should get a refund but unlikely you'll get the item you bought in the first place.

Thanks for all reassurances that I will get a refund. It is frustrating that I keep being asked the same questions.

Yep eBay miles better for any issues regarding refunds
