"Vodafone" scam phone calls

I've had 3 calls in just over 2 hours this afternoon all claiming to be from Vodafone. The numbers have shown up respectively as a Chinese takeaway in Lincolnshire, a tyre fitter in Scarborough and "Premier" with no location. All of them were really bad lines and sounded like they were coming from the middle of a busy factory.
All blocked and reported.
So if you get a call claiming to be from Vodafone be careful.

I get them despite not being a Vodafone customer, which is a dead giveaway.

Block and report as Spam. I get flurries of these from time to time.

It might be bad at the moment because they are rolling out a new service for their landline right now so customers might be more inclined to accept a call.

I did both straight away. Just wanted to flag that it's currently an area of high activity and at this time of year people are busy/distracted and possibly not on such high alert as usual.

Not a vodaphone customer - but I’ve had two today, one masquerading as a nhs maternity service from Bermondsey and one as a landline from Leeds.

I got one today offering to give me a discount but I left vodafone years ago. I googled the number and found this

They didn't know anything other than my name and were trying to get me to give them some personal info. Scammers.
