Should I get a security camera

I moved here months ago my direct neighbours are old and friendly. they all have security cameras and houses in the area have video ring door bells as well and stickers to say people are being filmed. The previous tenant left such a sticker on the windows and doors of this house. It’s council housing but other people’s cameras wouldn’t capture my own property. It makes me wonder if there’s a chance of crime and I should be getting a security camera at either side of the house

Just the fact you’re thinking about it,
get one.
slim chance but if something happened you’d kick yourself that you were ‘thinking about it’. It’s how my mind would work anyway! They are reasonably cheap now and easy enough to set up for peace of mind!

we live in a very low crime area but caught someone trying to get into our cars one night!

Get one!

I live in a very safe cul de sac. I got one recently as do works away and it made me feel safer!

Cvtv is inexpensive and great peace of mind, fit it yourself and have an app

It makes me wonder if there’s a reason I should have one if other people by me have it

If cost is an issue you can buy very cheap ‘dummy cameras’ from Amazon which could be off putting for anyone thinking about approaching your address.
