Too tired to do anything/lazy??

Wondering if anyone else feels this way and if I am just ‘lazy’?

I have triplets that are now in full time school, I have a part time wfh job (10 hours per week) and I would like to get back to full time work so I have started an online course (6 hours per week) that could help me get a qualification.

dc sleep very well, I tend to stay up till around 11pm most nights as I’m either busy doing housework or that’s ‘me’ time. I get a good 7 hours sleep a night, up in the morning sort out myself and the dc to take them to school. Come home and finish any housework that needs to be done, today was bedsheets washed, dishes washed, had some phone calls to make, had a shower, spent a few hours on my computer working and then had a terrible headache/eyes hurting because I was so tired. I had to nap as my eyes hurt so much, so slept for 1 hour then back to pick dc from school, come home, shower them and do homework with them, cook them dinner, put clean sheets on their bed, get them To bed at 7:30pm and then use that time to wash the dishes/clean from dinner, do any housework that’s needed, cook for dp for when he gets home from work. I now have 2 hours before dp is home, kids are sleeping and this should be time I can use to study for my course but I am too tired!

also, 4 weekdays I take the dc straight to sports clubs after school and we don’t get him until 7pm. Weekends they also have clubs in the afternoon that I take them too, I’m also doing activities/spending time with them on the weekend by myself as dp works.

my eyes hurt but I don’t think I’m physically tired, I think it’s a mental thing? I have no idea how I’d manage a full time job if I’m struggling doing nothing. Have I become lazy since the dc are now in school all day? When I do have the chance to do what I need, I procrastinate! I should be studying right now but my brain is not in the mood to focus on learning at 8:30pm.

tell me if I’m being lazy or what I can do to motivate myself!

The big thing that jumps out from your post - have you had your eyes tested recently?

I noticed I used to get bad headaches if I had to stay on at work and I put it down to stress (working late generally means it’s been a stressful shift!) then I had a medical and only scraped through the eye test despite being absolutely fine 4 years prior. Turns out I needed glasses and headaches are much improved!
