How to know if blonde/lighter hair would suit me?

My natural hair colour is a 'mousey' light brown colour (in hairdressers terms they would call it a level 7 though so technically a dark blonde). My eyebrows are medium brown, I'm very pale with pink-toned skin and blue eyes.

I'm wanting to go something like the below pic, but I'm not sure if it would suit me. Do you think by the sounds of it this would suit me or should I stay darker due to my darker brows?

just do it grows out and yes it probably would suit you. you could get a brow tint but most people just have darker eyebrows

Do your homework to find a good colourist though. I asked on local FB groups and then looked at the Instagrams I'd recommended hairdressers to find someone who had a portfolio of work similar to what I wanted.
Then phone up and book for a consultation to discuss what you want and get a patch test done.

Of course it would. That’s a “light brown but been in the sun a lot” look.

It is quite hard to achieve though so you’d need to pick someone who knows what to do (balayage probably). It’ll also grow out fairly fast as it’s mostly on the bottom half - which could be a benefit if you didn’t like it!
