DD sore throat but nothing to see and voice sounds different (not hoarse)

DD has had a viral thing which included a sore throat and high temperature. It's now 5 days since her throat last actually looked sore and since she had a fever.

However, she is saying her throat is sore lower down (pointing to base of neck) and her voice sounds a bit different. It's not hoarse but sounds slightly constrained. She's lost her big front teeth a couple of weeks ago so I initially put this change in sound down to that, but now I'm beginning to wonder.

Has anyone any ideas?

She was examined by a paramedic based at our local GP surgery (guessing the doctors are overrun) who did a thorough examination and couldn't see anything of note.

Laryngitis?

Does she get heartburn?

DD's voice is absolutely there and not at all raspy so I don't think it's laryngitis. It just has a different sound to it.

I've wondered about heartburn type things. This would be new for her but she was put on antibiotics for the initial sore throat and maybe they're causing issues.
