Evri :said parcel delivered but I've not got it. anyone ever got it eventually? Or is it lost

I've never had this before.. Do I have to mentally right off this item?
They said its delivered. It's not.

Did they send you a photo? I had this happen and I posted the photo on our local FB group and someone down the road recognised their outside cupboard and brought us the parcel.

Does the tracking have a photo? I had this a few times and it was delivered to the wrong address. The company resent it when I sent a photo of my front door!

The photo showed it was in someone’s porch, and I don’t have a porch. Luckily that person brought it round eventually.

Yes this happened consistently to me. Often when I was sitting looking out at my driveway so I know they weren't there.

It usually arrived the following day.

No, you tell them it wasn't delivered (if it disappears) and get a refund and replacement if possible from the sender. Of course you don't shrug your shoulders and "write it off." And if you paid for next day delivery and didn't get next day, you complain.

Evri are absolutely terrible.
they don’t tell you it’s on the way and then they deliver elsewhere

some drivers will take a picture of the package whilst sat in the car. The photos only get looked at if there’s a complaint but you have to go through your seller not evri

I’ve had this too. Apparently if they don’t have time to deliver they send the message but actually deliver the following day.
Several years ago Evri , when they were Hermes, dumped a pile of parcels on a random driveway, 7 miles from me, and left a note saying that if the house owners couldn’t deliver them then they’d come back and collect then 2 days later!
Nothing surprises me nowadays with delivery companies. I never received an expensive parcel (£150!) that was delivered to an address 6 miles away, signed for by a random individual and Fed-Ex didn’t want to know.
The seller on Etsy refused to refund, PayPal were equally unhelpful.

it’s definitely a case of buyer beware.

Yes, I always go back to the original company. They can liaise with the courier if they want to, but often it's easier for them to just resend.

I've let evri know and will also let mango know. However it was a sale item so probably not in stock.

Mango are resending it. I spent about 50 mins battling with ai chat bots on the phone. Which cut me off then on line via their chat.
Three attempts trying to put in the no to an on line chat bot which then said wait.. And then.. There has been inactivity... We are ending the chat... Very very painful and dreadful.
