Anybody done a 14 night cruise? If so how long and where did you go?

It will be my first time but don't know how I feel being on a boat in the middle of the sea 🫣

Haven’t done a 14-nighter but we’ve done a few cruises. I find the at-sea days pretty boring, but if you’re up for all the entertainment they put on I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. I’d take a book and sit up on deck with a glass of something cold! We’ve cruised in a storm before and it was actually quite a fun experience – the crew were so calm but it was bizarre walking at an angle down the corridors. The ships are designed to withstand a lot so I wouldn’t worry about weather. It is amazing going to sleep and waking up somewhere new each day. Enjoy it!

Going against the grain I wouldn't advise a 14 night trip with 4 sea days in a row as your first cruise. Don't get me wrong, I think it's amazing but it's not for everyone and until you try a cruise you don't really know whether you'll love it or hate it.

We did a 7 night cruise for our first one and LOVED it so would definitely recommend it but just something to consider.

They have lots of things that they put on for the days at sea.
We sunbathed, ate. We went to shows that we would never spend money to go to normally, but were actually fun! Magicians, comedy, music performances, all sorts of shows. They had a few competitions on board, they had The Voice at Sea, for guests to compete in, or watch and vote, and other sorts of game shows. Lots of fun. You can do lots or do nothing, all up to how you feel. You really don't notice that you are at sea.

At end of October I went on med cruise for 12 days. It sailed from Trieste Venice. We spent 2 days in Venice first. Embarked at Trieste, then went to Koper, Dubrovnik, Kotor, Corfu, Taranto, Valetta, Messina, Naples, Cannes, Livorno (Pisa) and we disembarked at Civitavecchia (Rome). We sailed off between 6 and 8 each night and arrived in a new port between 6 and 8 each morning. Somewhere different every day and fab entertainment in the ship including a ballroom show that was better than Strictly. We went with Norwegian cruise lines because they had a good upgrade package to include on board internet minutes, all drinks, 3 speciality meals and $50 off each excursion.
