My claim to fame is that I once met JR in a jazz club in Leeds (my friend's band was supporting his).

He is everything I thought he'd be and more - a huge presence (both literally and metaphorically), lots of fun and completely hilarious.

I was a big fan before and like him even more now. Will be watching!

Have you watched Smothered? He has a hilarious, not insignificant, guest appearance in episode 5 or 6.

I find him mildly annoying on Masterchef sometimes, but he was very funny and did the raised eye brow thing on Smothered to great aplomb.

I used to really like Jay then I saw his live show in a theatre and he came across as being a bit sleazy. He is still an erudite man but for me the buzz has gone. I'll still be watching though! 😁
