Finding new job challenging

I moved from my old job (nearly 24 years) into a new job (teacher) and really struggling with a lack of support and now I am barely sleeping and feel lonely even though the job is a better fit for me. How long would you give the job a chance to settle ? My old job was inner city and very tough so was not a viable option and my self esteem is very low

How long has it been? I’d give a few weeks for a true picture of how you are feeling but it depends on so much. I hope you’re ok. No job is worth your self esteem x

Three months
Pay and distance good and like the actual children. Think it might come in time but environment feels off
